I am a baby photography specialist.
I only shoot a limited number of newborn sessions each month. This enables me to give all my clients the time and attention they require.
Below is some helpful information about your session.
To get the best results from your newborn photography session I suggest coming to my studio around day six to eight after your baby is born. If you had a difficult birth and need a bit longer to rest, do not worry, up to three weeks is also perfect. Overall, I consider any sessions with babies under six weeks old as newborns. This is because I can still capture newborn poses up till age.
To capture the popular 'froggy'pose your baby has to be under 3 weeks old. The younger, the better.
Sessions last around three to four hours which should be just about the right time to capture a selection of lovely images of your newborn baby in both sleeping, as well as awake poses. I won't forget about the all important family shots either and will photograph intimate portraits of mum and baby, dad and baby and even an older sibling shots too.
To keep you comfortable and relaxed during your baby photography session, I offer bottled mineral water, a huge selection of organic herbal teas plus espresso, cappuccino or cafe late fresh from a Nespresso machine.
A dressing gown, a comfortable sofa, a baby feeding pillow and a changing station are also on hand. Spare newborn nappies and wet wipes are prepared for your convenience too.
Sessions take between three to four hours and are offered midweek or at weekends.
After your shoot your images will be ready for you to view and order within a week. All ordered images are retouched by a professional retoucher I have been working with for the past seven years.
