Newborn Photographer London | At-Home Sessions
Congratulations on your new arrival. If you're looking for newborn photographer in London who comes to you, I'd love to be part of those very first days.
I photograph newborns naturally and unhurriedly, in the comfort of your own home, across Fulham, Clapham, Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill and throughout London.
Named Newborn Photographer of the Year— capturing London's newest arrivals at home.
Newborn photography at home: what to expect
Wondering what a newborn photography session at home actually looks like? What happens on the day, and whether there's anything you need to do to get ready? You're in the right place and I hope this answers every question you might have.
I come to you. Every newborn session I shoot is in your own home, wherever you are in London or the surrounding areas, because honestly, there is nowhere better. Those first weeks are such a tender, private time, and your home is at the heart of all of it. It's where everything begins: your first nights, your first mornings, your first weeks together. Where you're finding your rhythm as a family and where the light falls on your baby's face in the morning. That is exactly what I want to photograph.
My aim is to create images that really capture the truth of this moment: those impossibly tiny fingers, the velvet-soft skin, the way your newborn curls into you like they were made for your arms. But just as much as the baby details, I'm interested in you: the look that passes between partners, the quiet pride, the overwhelming love that doesn't quite have words yet. The family you have just become.
A Relaxed, Baby-Led Newborn Photoshoot
Feeding, settling, sleeping, waking — I work around all of it. There is no script, and that is exactly why the photographs feel real.
I might gently guide you towards the best light, or suggest a position that brings everyone into the frame together, but mostly I'm there to document what is already happening, just beautifully.
I bring everything needed to create a polished, considered result: studio lighting, a specialist newborn beanbag, and soft wraps and blankets. While you relax, I quietly set up around you. The quality is everything you'd expect from a studio session and you’ll barely notice I'm there — until you see the photographs.
As a mum of two teenage boys, I can tell you this with complete certainty: I have never once looked back at photographs from those early weeks and wished I'd spent the money on something else. Those images are some of the most precious things I own. My boys are enormous now — taller than me, full of opinions — and those photographs take me straight back to the weight of them newborn in my arms. That is what I want to give you.
That's me with Eliot — he's nearly 6ft and very much a teenager now. This photograph was taken at home by my dear friend Jodie Doyle, on a Hasselblad no less. I know exactly how it feels to be on the other side of the camera.
My sessions are an investment, and I make no apology for that. What you receive is not just a gallery of beautiful images, but a body of work that documents one of the most significant moments of your life — made by someone who has lived it and understands exactly what it means. Returning clients are always welcome back, with a loyalty discount as a thank you. There is nothing I love more than watching a family grow.
Something I want you to know
The at-home difference
I bring the studio to you which I hope changes everything.
Alongside my camera, I arrive with professional studio lights and backdrops, so you have the best of both worlds: the clean, timeless quality of studio portraits and the warmth and intimacy of your own home. Some families love the soft, classic look of a studio style image. Others want something that feels rooted in the reality of those early days: the light through your particular window, the texture of your bedding, the beautiful ordinary details of the place your baby has just arrived into. Most want a little of both.
I work across all of it within a single session, so your gallery tells the full story of this moment and not just one version of it.
Your home doesn't need to be large or styled or tidy. It just needs to be yours.
The quality you should expect
I bring everything needed to produce a polished, considered result: studio lighting for when natural light needs a little help, a specialist newborn beanbag, and carefully chosen wraps and blankets. I work quietly and methodically around you while you settle in, so that by the time we begin, it feels completely natural.
The images themselves are the standard I hold everything to. Soft, timeless, and artistically considered — not filtered or formulaic, but genuinely crafted. This is not a conveyor belt. I take a small number of newborn sessions each month precisely because each one deserves my full attention.
Award-winning Newborn Photography in London
Being awarded Newborn Photographer of the Year was an incredibly proud and emotional moment for me. Knowing that my passion for capturing the delicate beauty of newborn babies had been recognised meant the world, and it motivates me even more to create timeless images for the families I photograph.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prepare my home?
Not really. however. turning the heating up so your baby stays comfortable can genuinely help. Overall please don't spend the morning tidying. I'm not here to photograph your house. I'm here to photograph your family.
What if my baby is unsettled on the day?
It’s completely normal, and genuinely not a problem. Every session is entirely baby-led. I build in plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and settling. There is no clock running and no pressure whatsoever and I simply work around your baby, always.
How long does the session take?
Usually somewhere between two and four hours, though I never rush. Some babies need more time than others and that is absolutely fine. The priority is always that you feel at ease and your baby feels comfortable — the photographs follow naturally from that.
Do you use props?
I keep things intentional and uncluttered. The focus is always your baby and your family. If there are meaningful items you'd like to include: a special blanket or a gift you're very welcome to bring them in.
Is a discount available for returning clients?
Yes, if we've worked together before, I offer a loyalty discount as a thank you.
