You don’t need modelling experience or any confidence in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through the session, helping with positioning, posture and small adjustments that shape each portrait.
My approach combines careful lighting with an understanding of how to photograph the pregnant form. The emphasis is on creating elegant images while making the experience feel relaxed and unhurried.
Although my specialism is maternity nudes and semi-nudes, you don’t have to bare more than you feel comfortable with. We can discuss how much you would like to reveal and the style of photographs you’re drawn to before your session. Your comfort guides what we create together.
A large photography studio at Paintworks
Your Bristol maternity photoshoot takes place in a large photography studio at Paintworks, a creative setting alongside the River Avon.
Located on the A4 Bath Road, near Totterdown and Brislington, Paintworks is approximately a 12-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, making it an option for clients arriving by train.
The studio gives us space to work with lighting and different compositions, from close, intimate portraits to full-length images that celebrate the shape of your pregnancy.

Part of Paintworks’ appeal is its creative surroundings. With galleries, a bar, a café and Airstream diners within a few minutes’ walk, there’s an opportunity to combine your maternity session with time to explore.
You might follow your photoshoot with lunch, a coffee or a look around the galleries, turning your visit into a day out rather than simply arriving for an appointment and heading straight home.
