When it comes to maternity photography, "affordable" can mean very different things.

7 Ways to Save Money on Your Maternity Photoshoot
1. Book a Sunday Petite Session
If you'd love a few beautiful portraits without a full-length session, a Sunday Petite Session is the most affordable way to work with me. It's a 30-minute maternity mini session, fully guided in my West London studio, with three professionally retouched portraits for £350.
Sessions are available on selected Sundays only, so it's worth booking early.
2. Choose Your Collection After Your Viewing
There's no need to commit to a large package before your shoot. You'll see all your portraits at a private online viewing a few days later, and choose the collection that's right for you then. There's never any pressure to buy more than you'd planned.
3. Bring the Whole Family at No Extra Cost
Partners, children and even family dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Many clients use their maternity photoshoot as a family session too, so you don't need to book and pay for two separate shoots.
4. Look Out for Model Calls
From time to time, I look for clients for specific shoots, such as a new styling idea, a new backdrop or images for my portfolio. Model call sessions are offered at a reduced rate.

5. Be Happy for Your Portraits to Be Featured
If you've chosen your collection and fall in love with one or two extra images, I'm sometimes able to gift them to you free of charge, in exchange for permission to feature them on my website or social media.
I'll never use your name or tag you unless you'd like me to. It's entirely optional and agreed in writing, so you're always in control of which images are shared and where.
6. Ask for a Gift Voucher
A maternity photoshoot makes a meaningful gift. If friends or family are wondering what to buy you for your baby shower, birthday or Christmas, a maternity photoshoot gift voucher is a lovely option. Vouchers start from £100, so several people can contribute towards your session.
7. Consider a Bristol Session
If you live in the South West, or are happy to travel, I also photograph maternity sessions in my Bristol studio near Temple Meads. To celebrate launching there, Bristol Sunday Petite Sessions start at £250.

How much does a maternity photoshoot cost in London?
My Sunday Petite Sessions are £350 for a 30-minute session with three retouched portraits. Full maternity sessions start at £750 for a 2-hour session with five portraits, with larger collections of 10 portraits for £1,150 and 20 portraits for £1,850. See full pricing.
Is a cheap maternity photoshoot worth it?
It depends on what's included. A lower price can mean less time, little posing guidance or heavy automated editing. A shorter session with an experienced photographer often gives you better portraits than a longer, cheaper shoot.
Can I get free extra images?
Sometimes. If you're happy for one or two extra portraits to be featured on my website or social media, I may be able to gift them to you. This is always optional and agreed in writing.
When should I book my maternity photoshoot?
The ideal time is between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. Sunday Petite Sessions book up quickly, so I recommend getting in touch around 20 to 24 weeks.
